Nyack Nourishes’ mission is to provide meals for the healthcare heroes working at Montefiore Nyack Hospital and the Nyack Community Ambulance Corps during the COVID 19 crisis while supporting local Nyack restaurants in need.
Nyack Nourishes realizes that our community is more than just a group of people living in a town along the Hudson. Our community is a group of people who know that they can lean on each other when times are tough. No one in our community needs more support and nourishment at this moment than the healthcare workers on the front line and our small businesses.
With your support, we will provide 50 individually boxed, full course meals per day to our healthcare heroes – while at the same time bolster the hard-working people working at the restaurants in Nyack that we all treasure.
This initiative is being headed up by a handful of local residents working with the support of the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, Nyack restaurants, Montefiore Nyack Hospital and the Nyack Community Ambulance Corps. All donations go straight to the local Nyack restaurants providing these meals.
